Join the Nightingale Vocal Ensemble for AVIAN MENAGERIE, a choral concert with all original music, specially crafted for Nightingale by its resident composers.

Since its founding in 2019, Nightingale Vocal Ensemble has premiered dozens of pieces created especially for the ensemble by its resident composers. AVIAN MENAGERIE is a carefully curated concert program selected from that repertoire, representing some of the best original music that Nightingale has performed to date. The program features works about the human body and mind, natural phenomena, the cosmos, and more by composers Mason Bynes, Nicholas Ford, Nathan Halbur, John Haukoos, Kelvyn Koning, Laura Nevitt, Benjamin Kapp Perry, and Angela Yam. This playful, profound, whimsical, and poignant collection of new choral music will be performed by 16 virtuoso singers a cappella.
