Getting Here

We encourage you to take the MBTA (public transportation) when visiting us. The cathedral is right across the street from the Park Street Station (Red Line and Green Line), and within walking distance of Downtown Crossing (Red Line and Orange Line). There is also a bus stop very nearby, on Temple Place, which is on the route of the Silver Line (SL5) and a number of other buses. Another option is the Commuter Rail to South Station, which is a short walk from the cathedral.

If you are driving, Boston Common Garage and City Place Garage (entrance at 40 Charles St S) are nearby and a convenient walk to the Cathedral. On Sundays and holidays, parking is free on the streets around the cathedral.
