Come and hear music from a box unopened for two centuries!
A box of Antonia Vivaldi’s music, forgotten after the composer’s death in 1741 and not opened again until the 20th century, contained the music for the Gloria for chorus, orchestra and soloists.
Please join us for a performance of this Gloria, together with the Concerto in A minor adapted by J.S. Bach for organ, and choral improvisation inspired by Vivaldi. With singers from the Cathedral Schola and Nightingale Vocal Ensemble, and Louise Mundinger on organ.
Suggested donation for this concert is $25; tickets are available at https://vivaldigloriacathedral.eventbrite.com
