The pilgrims stay in local churches along the way who feed them hot dinners and breakfasts and provide them with packed lunches for the following day. At the end of the pilgrimage, 2 days are spent in prayer, rest and recovery with the Brothers at The Emery House.

The Pilgrimage is also open to those who are not physically able to make the journey. In 2013, more than fifty people participated in the Pilgrimmage, either as walking pilgrims, or as prayer partners, teachers and guides.
